  Notes	The Virginian-Pilot, Norfolk, Virginia, Wednesday, 18 December 1929 Robert Leid Bass Robert Leid Bass, aged 63, died yesterday morning at 7:05 o?clock at the residence of his sister, Mrs. D.E. Etheridge, 228 West Twenty-sixth street, after a short illness. He was an insurance man and a native of Florence, S.C. He had made his home in Norfolk for the past 35 years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rosa L. Bass; three sons, Albert K. Bass, of Norfolk, John D. Bass of Portsmouth, and Weldon O. Bass, of Newport News; there daughters, Mrs. R.C. Radcliff and Mrs. E.V. Fox, of Norfolk, and Mrs. C.C. Scott, of Newport News; five brothers, Joe Bass, of Petersburg, L. Frank Bass, of Harrisburg, Pa.; William Bass of Charlotte, N.C.; Claud Bass, of Philadelphia, and Herbert Bass, of Washington, D.C.; a sister, Mrs. D.E. Etheridge, of Norfolk; 15 nieces and nephews and 11 grandchildren. The body was moved to the Gregory Funeral Home, Thirty-fourth and Granby streets, where funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o?clock.
