He was a native of Darlington, S.C. He is survived by his wife; a son, Edwin Bass, of near Little Rock; a daughter, Mrs. Frank Pruett of Liberty; a brother, William Bass, of the Happy Hollow community, and a sister, Mrs. Lou Newberry of Acklin Gap. Funeral services will be held at the Oakland Methodist church at 4 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. E.F.
