Bassett Robert Dean Bassett ALEDO--Robert "Bobby" Dean Bassett of Aledo, Texas, died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017, at the age of 69, with friends at his side. MEMORIAL SERVICE: 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, at Trinity Terrace Retirement Center in Fort Worth. Bobby graduated from North Texas State University and had a successful career as a chef, attaining the top of his profession. He last worked as an executive chef at Trinity Terrace Retirement Community in Fort Worth. In addition to cooking, Bobby enjoyed golf, and competitive running. Bobby was witty and creative, a dedicated father and faithful friend, maintaining relationships even from early elementary school. SURVIVORS: Bobby is survived by his son, Beau; his mother, Elizabeth; and siblings, Jamie and Betty.
