      Funeral services for Selden L. Bass, who died Wednesday, will be held at 3 P.M. Saturday at the residence, 1700 Fourth Avenue. Burial will be in Providence Methodist Church Cemetery, Chesterfield County. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary R. Bass; six sons, Shirley, James, Hugh, Selden, Piedmont and Edwin Bass; two daughters, Mrs. Adele Bland and Mrs. Isabelle Boyd; 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
