  Notes	Topeka State Journal, Kansas Monday, 27 February 1939 Mrs. Mary V. Bass Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Gaines' funeral home for Mrs. Mary V. Bass, 82, who died Saturday. Burial will be in Mt. Auburn cemetery and Norman Rimes, of Grace cathedral will read the services. Mrs. Bass had lived in Topeka for eighteen years, making her home at 1733 Fillmore. She was born in Chicago, ll., November 15, 1856, was a member of Ascension Episcopal church in Kansas City, Kan. A brother, J.P. Johnson, of Denver, Colo., survives her.
