Jack Bass
CHESTERFIELD ? Jack Bass, 71, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2006.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 10 from Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Chesterfield County, P.O. Box 293, Chesterfield, S.C. 29709; or Pine Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 293 Zoar Road, Chesterfield, S.C. 29709.
Born in Hahira, Ga., Mr. Bass was a son of the late Jake and Ora Clanton Bass. He was a retired heavy equipment operator foreman and a United States Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict. Mr. Bass was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Anna ?Ann? Imbimbo Bass of the home; three stepdaughters, JoAnn (Terry) Crowley, Linda G. Hunt and Nancy S. (Scott) Deemer of Chesterfield; a brother, Charles (Elizabeth) Bass of Charleston;
three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his twin sister, Jill Bass.
Arrangements were entrusted to Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.
