  Notes	Times-Pacayune, New Orleans, Louisiana, Friday, December 4, 1992 David Bass David Bass Sr., a retired employee of the U.S. Public Health Service Hospital, died of a heart attack Tuesday at Veterans Administration Medical Center. He was 74. Mr. Bass was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. He was a member of Historic Second Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving as a sergeant. Survivors include his wife, Ethel Bass; four sons, Troy, David Jr. and Darryl Bass and Tyrone Ellis; four daughters, Torey Taylor, Casey Blackmon, Brenda Washington and Shelia Harrell; five sisters, Emelda Dasley, Dorothy McMillen, Thelma James, Helen Rush and Hester David; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A wake will be held today at 8 p.m. at Historic Second Baptist Church, 2505 Marengo St. A dismissal will be held Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
