Mrs. Pauline Cohen
Funeral services for Mrs. Pauline Cohen, 83, who died at the Jewish Home for the Aged, Troy, will be conducted today.
Mrs. Cohen, the former Pauline Bass, was born in Poland and resided in Albany since 1905.
She and her husband, the late Louis Cohen, operated delicatessens on Lark Streeet and Central Avenue for many years.
She was one of the first members of the Ohav Shalom Synagogue and was a member of the Clara de Hirsch Society.
Mrs. Cohen was a sister of the late Leon Malmed and the late Solomon Bass.
Rabbi Natphtali Rubinger and Canton Kenneth Rabineau will conduct funeral services at 3 p.m. today at the Levine Memorial Chapel, 230 Delaware Avenue. Burial will be in the Workmen’s Circle Cemetery, Town of Guilderland.
