Lillie McCoy Bass
Lillie McCoy Bass, 92, a former resident of North Williams Circle, Elizabeth City, NC died Thursday April 5, 2007 at Barco Sentara Nursing Home. She was born in Camden County, South Mills, NC, and was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin McCoy and Dixie Gertrude Albertson McCoy. Mrs. Bass was a retired cashier with A & P Stores.
Survivors include her daughter; Phyllis Maye Nyahay and husband Robert of Elizabeth City, NC, her brother, Joseph Franklin McCoy of South Mills, NC, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside funeral service will be held Monday at 2:00 P. M. at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Northside Road, Elizabeth City with Rev. Aaron Pendley officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.
