Addie G. Bass
Goldsboro ? Addie G. bass, 59, died at his home, Lucama, Route 2, Wednesday at 1:30 a.m. following a heart attack. He was a veteran of the first World War. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lucraty Bass; four daughters, Mrs. Russell Hamner of Royal Oak, Mich., Mrs. Elmer Lamm of Balto, Mrs. William Tedeer of Lucama, Marjorie Bass of the home; four sons, Autry of the U.S. Army in Frankfurt, Germany, Pierpon of Lucama, Fuquay and Royce of the home; one brother, Wiley Bass of Black Creek; two sisters, Mrs. Jim Crocker of Lucama and Mrs. Ernest Lucas of Dixon. Funeral services will be held from the Upper Black Creek Primitive Baptist Church Friday at 4 p.m. with Legionnaires as active pall bearers. The body will lie in state at the church one hour before the funeral. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lucraty Bass; four daughters, Mrs. Russell Hamner, Royal Oak, Michigan, Mrs. Elmer Lamm, Baltimore, Maryland, Mrs. William Tedeer, Lucama, and Miss Majorie Bass of the home; four sons, Autry of the U.S. Army in Frankfurt, Germany; Pierpon, Lucama and Fuquay and Royce, both of the home; one brother, Wiley Bass, Black Creek; two sisters, Mrs. Jim Crocker, Lucama, and Mrs. Ernest Lucas, Dixon. The funeral will be held at Upper Black Creek Primitive Baptist Church Friday at 4 p.m. The body will lie in the church one hour before the funeral. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
