Black Creek - Wiley Bass, 66, died at his home, Tuesday. Surviving are his wife, the former Dora Rose; six daughters, Mrs. Leona Lamm of Saratoga, Mrs. Daisy Dodds of Greenville, South Carolina, Mrs. Esther Whitley, Mrs. Nancy Turnage, both of Wilson, Mrs. Ann Deans and Mrs. Ruth Rose, both of the home; two sons, Clement of Wilson and Ewdard of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Crocker of Lucama, Mrs. Luminzar Lucas of Jacksonville; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Lower Black Creek Primitive Baptist Church. The Reverend W.E. Turner will officiate. Interment will be in the Ferrell Family Cemetery.
