Miss Sterritt entertained
Miss Cathy Jeanne Sterritt, bride-elect of Kenneth Wayne Bass, was entertained Tuesday evening with a wine and cheese party by Mrs. Norris L. Shamp at the home of her mother, Mrs. L. D. Williams.
Spring colors were used in the decorations. The honoree was presented a gift of crystal.
Among the 20 guests attending were Mrs. H. William Sterritt, mother of the honoree, Mrs. Robert O. Bass, mother of the prospective bridegroom, Mrs. Albert Sterritt of Lockport, N.Y., and Mrs. Harold Scheffer, grandmothers of the honoree, Mrs. J.S. Carso of Monroe, La., the prospective bridegoroom?s grandmother, Miss Cindy Bodin of Baton Rouge, Miss Maggie Porth and Mrs. Robert Scheffer, both of Lockport, Mrs. Linas Bass of El Dorado, Ark., and Mis Laverne Bass of Houston.
