Mrs. Lois Ann Bonner Bass, age 84, a resident of Aurora, NC died Thursday February 2, 2023, at her home.
A private funeral service will be held later.
Mrs. Bass was born in Beaufort County on February 14, 1938, daughter of the late Thurman Wilmot Bonner and the late Beulah Marie Womble. She had a servant?s heart and made her career being an in-home health care giver before hospice became available. Mrs. Bass formerly attended Edward Christian Church and recently attended Aurora Church of God. Her faith and helping others were both important parts of her life.
Survivors include her children: Mitchell Dean Copeland (Gloria) of Gaston, AL, Karen Denise Copeland of Gulf Shores, AL, Michael Ray Copeland (Betty) of Gadsden, AL, Robbie Bass (Jill) of Elizabeth City, and Tina Bass of Aurora; a brother: Harry Waters of TX; sisters: Barbara Bivens, Jeanette Sands, and Doris Gainer all of VA; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
