  Notes	Arthur C. Bass Obituary Arthur C. Bass of Big Stone Gap died Tuesday (March 29, 1988) at Lonesome Pine Hospital. He was a member of the Church of God, Gate City. Surviving are his wife, Ida Mae Bass; two sons, the Rev. Samuel W. Bass and Jamees Arhut Bass of Big Stone Gap; four daughters, Lorraine Jacobson of Dumfreis, Juanita Chandler of Dade City, Fla., Roberta Sessoms of Gas City, Ind., and Carrie Woods of Security, Colo.; 19 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; one sister, Hazel Borden, and one brother, Carl Bass, both of Michigan. Services were conducted Friday in holding Funeral Home Chapel in Big Sonte Gap with the Rev. H.G. Kiser officiating. Burial was in Powell Valley Memorial Gardens.
