He was born on July 18, 1935, in Spivey, Kansas, the son of Noble and Pearl Hunt Bass. Lived most of his life in the Hutchinson area. He was in the U.S. Army. He drove a truck most of his life and was last employed by Mid America Ready Mix in South Hutchinson. He is survived by a son, Milton Bass, Calif.; a daughter, Deanice Skegog, Okla.; three grandchildren; three brothers, the Rev. Robert Bass, Hugh Bass and Jack Bass; three sisters, Maxine Edwards, Gwinnell Nickel and Georgiana Cummins. Private graveside services were held at Penwell-Gabel Memorial Cemetery. Memorial remembrances may be made to Hospice House in care of Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, Hutchinson. Personal condolences can be made at
