Terry Devon Bass Whitt, age 67 of Laurinburg passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017.
Terry was the loving daughter of the late James Robert Bass and Bessie Mae Roberts Bass born July 6, 1950 in Bennettsville, South Carolina. She dedicated her life to loving and caring for her family as a homemaker. She enjoyed attending Gray Pond Baptist Church and making floral arrangements and wreaths. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Lonnie Gene Bass and Tony Richard Bass and great grandson, Charles Alexander Johnson.
Terry leaves behind her husband of 47 years, Arthur Wayne Whitt of the home; her daughters, Christy Graham (Jerry Martin) and Sherry Knight (Thomas Knight); grandchildren, Scottie Graham (Bekah), Jamie Knight (Kierrah Patrick), Cassandra Johnson (Roy), Casey Knight (Dustin Holcombe), Samantha Graham (Kegan Hunt), Brandon Knight (Jasmine) and great grandchildren, Blake Graham, Alayna Knight, Elijah Johnson, Ethan Johnson, her nieces, nephews and a host of loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 in the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel officiated by Rev. Horace Oxendine. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery. A time of visitation will be from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service on Tuesday at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
