  Notes	The Messenger, August 3, 2016 Dean Bassett HUMBOLDT ? Dean Bassett, 84, formerly of Humboldt, passed away July 31, 2016 at Victorian Manor in Pace, Florida. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Faith United Methodist Church in Humboldt with the Rev. Alberta Ervin officiating. Masonic Rites will be at 10:15 Saturday at the church. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Humboldt. Visitation with the family will be from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the church. The Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home of Humboldt is assisting the family. Mr. Bassett is survived by his two daughters, Terry (Paul) Swanson of Pace, FL, and Kayla (Ken Mudd) Bassett of Birmingham, AL; and his three grandchildren, Brett, Arielle, and Tyler Swanson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pat, in November of 2014.
