Louis Older Bass
Louis Older Bass, 77, of Malden, Mo., died Saturday at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cap Girardeau, Mo. He was born in Pocahontas on Nov.l 28, 1910, was a member of the Malden Cnurch of Christ and was a retired mailhandler for the Missouri Pacific Railroad.
Survivors include one son, Daniel Adams of Malden, three brothers, Manley Bass of Paragould, William Bass of St. Louis, Mo., and Willis Bass of San Francisco, Calif., two sisters, Edna Young of Richmond, Calif., and Dona Merkle of St. Louis, Mo.; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beulah Marie Adams Bass, on Feb. 16, 1982, and his parents, Moses P. Bass and Gusta E. Hancock.
The funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Malden with Robert Goff officiating. Burial will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
Visitation will begin tonight at 5 at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
