Helen Mae Bass Brignac
Helen Mae Bass Brignac, 91 years old, beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 21, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She entered this world on April 18, 1931, born to Mattie Guinn Bass and L.J. Bass, in Manifest, LA. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Helen is survived by her son, Jeffrey Brignac and wife, Paula; daughter, Deborah Hill and husband, Jon; grandchildren, Leigh-Therese Smith and husband, Ted, Laurie Hill, Katie Ferriss and husband, Thomas, and Kodi Brignac and wife, Chelsea; great-grandchildren, Joseph, Thomas, Camille, Aubrey, Eva, and Andrew; and a host of nieces and nephews. Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur F. Brignac; parents, Mattie Bass and L.J. Bass; sisters, Gladys Brignac and Elsie Jean Picard. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, Louisiana, from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Service 11:00 AM. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
