Bass-Elder
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Bass of 5806 N. Kerth announce the approaching marriage of their daughter Pamela Kay to Donald Ray Elder, son of Mr. and Mrs. Shirley Howard of Mount Vernon.
Miss Bass will attend Indiana University-Purdie University of Indianapolis this fall where she will major in nursing.
Mr. Elder is a student at Indiana University School of Medicine.
The wedding will take place Aug. 2, at 2 p.m., in North Haven General Baptist Church.

Miss Bass Weds Donald R. Elder
Miss Pamela Kay Bass and Donald Ray Elder were united in marriage in an early afternoon ceremony Saturday at North Haven General Baptist Church.
Parents of the bridal couple are Mr. and Mrs. Herman L. Bass of 5806 N. Kerth Ave., and Mr. and Mrs. Shirley Howard of Mount Vernon, Ind.
Miss Belinda Bass, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Steven Bass of Indianapolis, sister-in-law of the bride, mrs. Margie Pendley of Logootee, Miss Suzanne Brown of Altoona, Pa., and Miss Elizabeth Hughes of Hampton, Va., cousins of the bride.
James Preston was best man. Samuel Woehler, Mike Niemeier and Curtis and William Elder, brothers of the groom were the groomsmen. Guests were seated by Steven Bass of Indianapolis, brother of the bride, and Rick Murray.
Assisting at the reception held at Terrace Park General Baptist Church were Mrs. James Preston, Mrs. Samuel Woehler, Mrs. James J. Hollon, Mrs. Gary Wayne DeVillez and Mrs. Ricahrd Bailey of Winslow, Ind. Miss June Chilcutt of St. Louis, Mo. registered guests.
The new Mrs. Elder, who attended Oakland City College, will attend Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis where she will major in nursing.
Mr. Elder is a graduate of Indiana State University-Evansville and is a second year medical student at Indiana University School of Medicine.
Following a Florida honeymoon the couple will make their home at the Carriage House Apts., 5514 Whitcomb Court in Indianapolis.
