  Notes	Journal Star, Peoria, Illinois, Tuesday, November 27, 1984 Louis Bassett GREEN VALLEY ? Louis Bassett, 91, of Green Valley, died at 11:58 p.m. Sunday in Hopedale Nursing Home. Born June 26, 1893, in Benham, Ind., to Arthur and Louise Grautman Bassett, he married Winifred Hayes Sept. 7, 1927, in Danville. She died Dec. 2, 1977. One brother also preceded him. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Julia Wiesehan of Peoria; several nieces and nephews. He was a bridge builder for the Northwestern Railroad, and Army veteran of World War I, and a member of Delavan Post 382, American Legion. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Wednesday until services at 10 at Woolsey Funeral Home, Delavan. The Rev. Lester Wence will officiate and burial will be in Green Valley Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Green Valley Presbyterian Church Building Fund or American Legion Post 382.
