  Notes	Daily Press, Newport News, Virginia, Tuesday, January 10, 1995 Pearl Bassette KING WILLIAM - Pearl Bassette, 79, of West Point, died Jan. 8, 1995, in Mary Immaculate Hospital, Newport News. She was a member of Mount Nebo Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Reginald Bassette of Richmond; one sister, Mrs. Fredericka B. Thomas of Hampton; one brother, Dr. Caesar S. Bassette of Cincinnati, Ohio; two grandchildren, Joycelyn and Reginald Bassette II; and one daughter-in-law, Joyce Bassette of Ricmond. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Jan. 12, 1995, at 1 p.m. at Mount Nebo Baptist Church, West Point, with Rev. Steven Banks, pastor, officiating. Burial in Bassette Cemetery, Hampton. The remains will be placed in church at 11:30 a.m. The family will assemble at the residence of Revs. Garry A. and Geraldine Garnett at 12:15 p.m. Arrangements by J.K. Redmond Funeral Home.
