Funeral services for Joshua Glen Thibodeaux will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, May 6, 2016 at White Oaks Memorial Chapel with Reverend Dennis LaFleur and Reverend Sylvia McDaniel officiating. Committal service will follow at Simmons Cemetery in Mittie under the direction of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Joshua, 26, of Oakdale entered eternal rest on Wednesday, May 04, 2016 in his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born August 9, 1989 in Alexandria to Tammy Renee Thibodeaux. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. In 2007, Joshua graduated from Oakdale High School. He loved NASCAR, church, and video games.
He is preceded in death by his maternal great grandparents, James and Lucille Bass; three uncles, John Glen Thibodeaux, Preston Ray Thibodeaux, and James Huey Bass; and one cousin, Victoria Perez.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are: his mother, Tammy Thibodeaux; maternal grandparents, Glen and Gloria Thibodeaux of Oakdale; one brother, Trace Thibodeaux of Oakdale; uncles, Weldon Thibodeaux of Pineville, Franklin Bass of Oakdale, and Gerald Bass of San Angelo, Texas; aunts, Patricia George of Pretique, Texas, Shelia Cole of Oakdale, Anita Thibodeaux of Oakdale, Frankie Bass of Oakdale, Marie Vickers of Nederland, Texas, Donna Johnson of Westwego, Beulah Rivas of San Angelo, Texas, and Sharon Howard of Dallas, Texas; and a host of cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held at White Oaks Funeral Home, Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 2 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m., Friday, May 6, 2016 in the chapel.
