Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Bell-Seale Funeral Home chapel with burial at Hillside Memorial Gardens. He was born July 12, 1892 in Bosque County. He had been an area resident since 1953 and was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Pearl Bass, of Snyder; three daughters, Mrs. Edith Hilburn of Denton, Mrs. Catherine McKinze of Staples and Mrs. Christine Jesson of Midlothian; three sons, James Bass of Snyder, George Bass of Sacramento, Calif. and Neyland Bass of Longview; two sisters, Mrs. Leta Holbrook of Fort Worth and Mrs. Lura Green of Tyler; 13 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and six step-grandchildren. 1910 Federal Census of Justice Precinct #1, Smith County, Texas (April 19, 1910) G.W.
