  Notes	Boston Herald, Wednesday, October 9, 1940 Alexander Bassett, Whitinsville, Dies WHITINSVILLE, Oct. 8 ? Alexander Bassett, 64, of 19 Maple street, one of the organizers of Trinity Episcopal Church here, died today in Hannemann Hospital in Worcester. He served as the first Sunday school superintendent of the parish, was church treasurer for 25 years, and had been a vestryman since the church was organized. He was a member of Granite lodge, A.F. and A.M. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Catherine (Deane) Bassett, three sisters and two brothers. Funeral services will be held in Trinity Church Thursday afternoon at 2 o?clock. Burial will be in Pine Grove cemetery.
