He was a retired painter and a member of First Assembly of God Church. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Bass; three sons, Robert L. Bass of Georgia, James. E. Bass of California and Roy T. Bass of Hot Springs; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Hall and Mrs. Wanda Mays, both of Malvern; two brothers, Forney Bass of Magnolia and J. T. Bass of Malvern; a sister, Mrs. Pauline Morris of Texas, 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Atkinson Funeral Home here. Burial will be at Oakridge Cemetery here.
