BASS, Mary Bell, 80, of Chester, went to be with the Lord on March 22, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Haywood Bass Jr.; sons, Christopher Pritchard, Jesse Pritchard and Todd Bass; daughters, Rosa Harris, Tina Jefferies and Candi Hoover; grandchildren, Christina Warren, Amanda Pritchard, Michael Flowers, Wayne Flowers, Heather Ritz, David Ritz, Melissa Ritz, Chance Hoover, T.J. Bass; and many other family members. Mary was a devoted member of Chester Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, traveling and spending time with her family. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd., where a funeral ceremony will be held 1 p.m. Monday. Interment to follow in Dale Memorial Park.
