  Notes	Mobile Register, Wednesday, July 19, 1978 Bassett Mrs. Mary Bassett – A native of Dancy, Ala., resident of Prichard, Alabama for a number of years, passed at a local hospital on July 12, 1978. Survivors are one son, Mr. Albert Bassett, Sr.; daughter-in-law, Mrs. Gertrude Bassett, both of Mobile; five grandchildren, Mr. Cyril Bassett of Brooklyn, N.Y., Mr. Albert Bassett, Jr. of Gardina, Calif., Ms. Dietrea Verdun of Detroit, Mich., Donna Bassett and Darrell Bassett of Mobile; nine great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, one brother-in-law, Mr. Wilbert Jones of Prichard; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Lonnie May of Brooksville, Miss., and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be from the Cedar Grove Baptist Church on Tuesday, July 18, 1978 after 5 p.m. Funeral services will be held from the church on Wednesday, July 19, 1978 at 11 a.m. with Rev. P.L. Ely, pastor and officiating minister. Interment will follow in the Lawn Haven Cemetery. Reese Funeral Home in charge of arrangements, 925 Bessemer Ave., Prichard, Ala. Police escort for all funerals.
