  Notes	BDN Maine, September 18, 2013 Dorothy Mae Lewis DARTMOUTH, NS - Dorothy Mae Lewis, 80, of Dartmouth, NS, passed away Sept. 15, 2013 in Northwood Center. Born in Bar Harbor, she was the daughter of the late John and Virginia (Bassett) Coombs. She raised and loved her three children on her own. In 1979 she started work at Bangor Mental Health Institute as a CNA until her retirement in 1993, then moving to Nova Scotia to be with her family. She was a strong independent beautiful woman who was loved by many and will be missed and in our hearts forever.She is survived by her daughter, Kim Lewis; sons, Mark, both of Dartmouth and Gil of California; and three grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Clyde. Cremation has taken place and under the direction of A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home. No flowers by request, donations may be made to the Northwood Foundation, 1 Center, in Dorothy's memory. A special thank you to Northwood and the staff of 1 Center.
