Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home in Vivian, LA officiated by Rev. Dustie Dunn. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Oil City, LA. There will be a time of visitation from 12 until time of services on Wednesday. Kenny was born August 5, 1960 in Lake Charles, LA and lived in the Mooringsport area for the past 3 years after moving from Channelview, TX. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and water sking. He was preceded in death by his stepson James Tanner. He is survived by he wife, Joy Bass of Mooringsport, LA, his father Kenneth Bass Sr. and wife Catherine of Matagorda, TX, his mother Martha L. Batten, his 2 children, Gary and Terry Bass, his stepson, Jeffery Smith, his brother Tim Bass, his sister Sharon Bass, his mother in law Mabel Miller, his daughter in law, Keri Tanner, his 2 grandchildren, Reid and Paige Tanner, his niece Shawnna Sellier, his nephew Justin Helmer and many friends. Pallbearers will be Wayne Wilson, Jeffery Smith, Willie Williams, Marvin Rochelle, Dale Rogers and Matt Faulkner.
