Jim Bass is survived by his wife, Verlene Bass, his sons Jason and Jered Bass, his daughters Chell Price and Sara Proffitt, his brother Danny Bass, and his sister Nona Whitney. He is preceded in death by his father Leroy Bass and his mother Mary Jo Bass.
