JOHN BEEZLEY
On Wednesday last Sept. 7, at 6:30 in the morning, Mr. John Beezley, who for the past twenty years has been a resident of this township, died at the home of his son-in-law, Mr. Green Lemonds of Turlington at the advanced age of seventy-eight years. Mr. Beezley has been poorly for a year or two past, and it has been apparent to all his friends that he could not long survive. About six weeks ago he went out to his daughter's on a visit but was taken down and died as above stated.
He leaves a widow and four children: viz., William T., and Thomas K., of this village, Mary J., wife of Green Lemonds of Turlington, and Sarah E., wife of Isaac Shuster of Vernon, Ia., a twin brother, Cornelius of Arapahoe County, Col., and another brother, David H. of Nebraska City; the last named being present at the time of his death. Mr. Beezley was perfectly rational until the last and expressed a willingness to go. The burial took place yesterday afternoon in the Warner cemetery.
