Robert Douglas Jr. (1930 ? 2018) (Picture included)
Robert J. Douglas Jr., age 88, of Canal Winchester, died Saturday, November 10, 2018 at his residence. He was born October 24, 1930 in Dearborn, MI where he lived for most of his youth before moving to Onaway, MI, where he was a graduate of Onaway High School. Robert retired after 30 years of work at the McLouth Steel Plant in Trenton, MI. He was a member of Solomon's Key Lodge #580 F.&A.M. After retiring Robert and his wife, Janet were residents of Rainbow Springs, FL for 25 years. Robert enjoyed golf, traveling, the outdoors, especially watching the wildlife. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert J. and Rose (Bassett) Douglas Sr. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Janet Douglas; sons, Robert (Kathy) Douglas III, Baltimore, OH and Kerry Douglas, Melvindale, MI; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. At the family's request services will be private. Arrangements by Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home & Crematory, Pickerington.
