She was preceded in death by her father, James Edward Bassett in April 1959; son, Joshua Don Bassett in 1979; maternal grandparents, Abb and Lottie Wallen and paternal grandparents, Clayton and Maymie Pearl Bassett. Survivors include her mother, Marjorie Bassett of Okmulgee; son, James Wallen Bassett of Okmulgee; sister, Janelle Williams & husband, Jimmy of Preston; brother, Donald Bassett and wife, Mai of Noble, aunt, Murl Coy of Okmulgee and host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Services are pending under the direction of the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee.
