Burial in Ponemah Cemetery, Bogalusa. Survived by his wife, Myrtle Clements Bass; two sons, Terrence D. Bass, Lt. Commander, U.S. Navy, Harvey, and Bobby Ray Bass, Jarreau; a brother, Raymond W. Bass, Old Ocean, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Lela Smith, Sweeny, Texas, and Mrs. Zula Le Blanc, Port Arthur, Texas; five grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.
