  Notes	Seattle Daily Times, Monday, Oct. 21 1940 Mrs. Willard G. Bassett Mrs. Isabella Clark Bassett, 70 years old, a Washington pioneer, former Seattle resident and sister of Joseph A. Vance, Seattle lumber man, died yesterday in Portland, Or., where she had resided the past four years. Mrs. Bassett, a native of Hamilton, Ont., settled in Tacoma in 1893; moved to Alma Grays Harbor County, eight years later, and in 1926 came to Seattle, where she resided until moving to the Oregon city. Funeral services will be held at 3 o?clock Wednesday at Piper?s Mortuary, Tacoma. She was the widow of Willard G. Bassett, who died in Tacoma several years ago. Survivors are a son, Ralph W. Bassett, Portland, Or.; a daughter, Mrs. Isabel Dorst, Seattle, and three brothers, Joseph A., Seattle; Francis E. and David J. Vance, both of Alma.
