Curtis Julian Bass, 88, of Plant City, Florida, passed away August 25, 2019 in Albany, Georgia, surrounded by his loving family. His wife Annie preceded him in death on February 24, 2008.
He is survived by three children, two daughters, Carole Ann (Edward) Carter, Robyn Leigh (Terry) Peters, and one son, Gary Curtis (Brenda) Bass. He has three sisters, Linda Lewis, Gloria Martin and Margie Bass. Two Sisters in Law, Nita and Gwen Bass. He had the love and support of his 10 grandchildren 30 great children and 11 great, great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Cecil Eugene and Charles Bass.
Elder Curtis J. Bass was ordained by faith in the ministry in 1959. He served the Lord for 60 plus years and served many churches in the area.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. with a viewing from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Enon Primitive Baptist Church in Plant City, Florida, with Elder Michael Lewis presiding.

Elder Curtis J. Bass, age 88, of Americus, GA passed away on August 25, 2019.
A native of Plant City, Florida, he was the son of the late Grover and Desie Mae Bass.
Survivors include children, Gary (Brenda) Bass, Carol (Edward) Carter, Robyn (Perry) Peters, sister-in-laws, Nita and Gwen Bass, six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Annie Merle Bass and siblings, Cecil and Charles Bass.
Curtis was a member of the Bethel Primitive Baptist Church. He was a member of the Boilermaker Union 433.
The family will receive friends Saturday, August 31, 2019 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Mt. Enon Primitive Baptist Church, 3660 N Frontage Rd, Plant City, FL 33565. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 AM.
