Olga Morgan
Olga T. Bassett (Krenitsky) Morgan, of Bergenfield, NJ, passed away peacefully, at Englewood Hospital with her loving family at her side.
She was born October 9, 1919 in Olyphant, PA, a daughter of Thomas and Tessa Shifron Krenitsky, and graduated from Olyphant High School and Kings County School of Nursing in Brooklyn, NY. Olga was united in marriage to Harry Bassett, and later in life to John Morgan. She was employed as a registered nurse at Englewood Hospital, retiring in 1984. She was a member of Ascension Church in New Milford, NJ.
Olga is survived by her three sons and two daughters-in-law, Brother John Bassett of Brooklyn, NY, Harry and Jie Bassett of Paramus, NJ, and Richard and Carol Bassett of Hawthorne, NJ; one sister, Dorothy Pompey of Olyphant, PA; a brother, John Krenitsky of Rome, NY; five grandchildren, Michael Bassett (Samantha) of Paramus, NJ, Bryan Bassett of Fair Lawn, NJ, Jaclyn Bassett of Philadelphia, PA, and Nicole and Kelly Bassett of Hawthorne, NJ; and four great-grandchildren, Kylie, Lola, Daisy, and Lexi. She is also pre-deceased by first husband Harry Bassett, second husband John Morgan and a daughter-in-law, Linda (Botticelli) Bassett, four sisters and three brothers.
Visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield. All will gather at the funeral home on Thursday at 8:30 AM for the Funeral Mass at Church of the Ascension in New Milford at 9:30 AM. Burial will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Tenafly.
