Bass Family
Pana, Aug. 18. ? The second annual reunion of the J.M. Bass family was held in this city at Kitchell park Sunday with forty-two relatives and descedants in attendance. The oldest member present was W.G. Candfield of St. Louis, aged 65 and, the youngest was Walter Kunkle, also of St. Louis.
The officers of the Bass organization, as re-elected, are Cecil Bass, Decatur, president, and Mrs. Elsie Richardson, Kinmundy, secretary and treasurer.
Those in attendance were: W.G. Candfield, J.D. Russel, Lizzie Candfield, Leota Russell, R.E. Garland, J.E. Garland, Nellie Garland, Hurley Garland, Ben Kunkle, Ruth Kunkle, Walter Kunkle and Ben Kunkle, jr. all of St. Louis; Mr. and Mrs. George Morrison, Peoria; Cecil Bass, Helen Rose Bass, Herbert Cecil Bass, Rosemary Bass, Betty Louise Bass, Paul Edward Bass, all of Decatur; Leo Clayton, Suavilla Clayton, Dale Clayton and Warren Clayton, of Witt; Lewis Richardson, Elsie Richardson, James Richardson, John Gilbert Richardson, John M. Bass, Raddie Howell Bass, Raymond Bass, Alice Bass, Dorothy Bass, all of Kinmundy; Jack Bradford and Ethel Clayton Bradford, Ocenee; Lucy Bass and Mrs. C.O. Rose, Decatur; Charles Clayton and Mattie Clayton, Oconee.
The next meeting will be held in Pana at Kitchell park the third Sunday in August, 1932.
