Bobbie Morris Bassett Delhi, LA Funeral services for Mrs. Bobbie M. Bassett 84 of Delhi will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at the Dunn Baptist Church with Rev. Bernard Duchesne Jr. and Rev. Eddie Fuller officiating. Visitation will be held at Dunn Baptist Church on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015 from 2:00 PM until time of services. Burial will be in the Delhi Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi. Mrs. Bassett was born in Ranger, TX on January 1, 1931 and went home to her heavenly reward on Monday, September 7, 2015 at the Deerfield Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Delhi. She was a retired LPN and is preceded in death by her parents, Claude Morris and Maycele Finley Morris Ryals; her husband Clyde Bassett; a son Kenneth Mark Bassett and a sister Claudia Woolsey. Bobbie is survived by three daughters, Ruth Elaine Bassett Simms of West Monroe, LA, Wanda Arnold of St. Joseph, LA and Bobbie Jean Works of Clinton, AR; two sons, Ronald E. Bassett Sr. of Tuscaloosa, AL and Garry L. Bassett Sr. of Bossier City, LA; a brother Charles E. Morris of Weatherford, TX; twelve grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other close relatives. Pallbearers will be Johnny Duffy, Garry L. Bassett, Jr., Ron Bassett Jr., Gerald Simms, Lonnie Hosea, Robert Simms II, Phillip Hosea, Jeremy Clark. Larry Miller, Ray Miller, Butch Woolsey and Stephen Hosea. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Woolsey (Deceased) and Charles Works Jr. (Deceased). Any planned memorials may be made to the Dunn Baptist Church Young At Heart Group or to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home. Cox Funeral Home Delhi, LA.
