It is with heavy heart & great sadness that we post this notification. On May 4th, 2018, our beloved Son, Brother, Cousin, Friend and Partner, Eric Bassett Stevens left us. Son of Dale B. Stevens & Wanda Cole Harris. Brother of Marcia Odom, Cynthia Ottensmeyer, Trisha Williams, Ian Stevens, Cortney Stevens & Ann Brink. Life partner of Arline Biglen for over 35 years.
Eric was a devoted employee of Ryder for 30+ years & loved umpiring Baseball , becoming a professional in his field.
Eric's passion was traveling with the love of his life, which they did once a year, travelling all over the world together.
One of Eric's major accomplishments was that he & Arline made a difference in the lives of over 100 children by being foster parents.
There will be a special gathering at Eric's home, in Concord, on June 2nd at 11:00.
