Alfred Bassett
The death of Alfred Bassett, aged 76 years, occurred at his home in Morton Tuesday, June 20. He had been in failing health for several months but was able to be about the village on Saturday.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mandana A. Bassett; one daughter, Mrs. Floris Botting; and two sons, Fred R. Bassett and Wilbur P. Bassett, all of Morton; one brother, Peter Bassett of Brockport, and one sister, Mrs. Peter Tyrell of Rochester; and four grandchildren.
The funeral was held from his late home this afternoon at 2:30, Rev. George W. Hobart officiating. Interment at Lakeside Cemetery.
