BASSETT ? Richard K. Bassett, Sr., 61, died Friday, October 24, 1997 at Fairview Hospital. Beloved husband dof Emilia; Father to, Catherine, Albert Richrd Jr., Andrew, and Mary, who died as an infant in 1963; brother to Dorothy, Marjorie, Annette, Gerald, and Ronald; grandfather to, Tanya, John, William, Christine, Victoria, Patricia, Tracey, Donald Jr., Jessica, Michael, Nicole, Kenneth, and Ashley; nephew to four Aunts; two Uncles; and many nieces and nephews. services will be Monday, October 27, at ten fifteen from the Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home, Great Barrington, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at eleven a.m., at our Lady of the Valley Church in Sheffield, with the Rev. Frederick R. Heberle, Pastor, as celebrant. Burial will follow at the Sheffield Center Cemetery. The family will received friends from three until six p.m. on Sunday, October 26, at the Funeral Home. Those who desire may make memorial donations to Richard K. Bassett, Sr.?s memory to either the Lee Visiting Nurse Association or to the Lady of the Valley Memorial Fune in care of the Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home, Great Barrington, which is in charge of arrrangements.
