Lula Mae Bass
BASS, Mrs. Lula Mae - age 85, passed away Sunday, June?? 14, 2026 at Corewell Health in Royal Oak, Michigan. Family hour 10:30AM Thursday, July 2, 2026 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 512 Pearsall Avenue, with funeral ceremony commencing immediately at 11:00AM. Pastor Terrance J. Gowdy, Officiating. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 North Perry Street. Friends and family will assemble 10:30AM at the church Thursday. Mrs. Bass will lie instate in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon, 268 North Perry Street, and may be viewed between the hours of 12:00PM - 6:00PM Wednesday.
Mrs. Bass leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Rosa Hoskins, Regina Streaty, Merlina Harris, Anthony Lawrence, Sylvia Moore, Daniel Lawrence, Talana (Phillip Fynbo) McCloud and Tina (Minister Adrian) Bass; a host of grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; a host of great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends, including best friend, Vivian Jenkins.
Mrs. Bass was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Bass; grandchildren, DeMarcus, Lawrence and A'Maya Bass; parents, Woodson Raimey and Beatrice Sailes; and one brother.
