  Notes	Danbury News Times, Connecticut, Wednesday, 10 Jul 1974 Howard Lewis Bassett Howard Lewis Bassett, of 8 New Street Ridgefield, died at his home yesterday of natural causes. Born in Ridgefield on September 22, 1909, son of the late Cleveland G. and Nellie Lewis Bassett. He was a retired carpenter by trade and was associated with his father in the C.G. Bassett & Sons Company. He was a member of St. Stephens' Episcopal Church, an honorary member of the Ridgefield Frie Department and the Ridgefield Horticultural Society. Besides his wife, Anne Blair Bassett he leaves two brothers, Francis J. of Washington, D.C. and Cleveland Bassett Jr. of Baltimore, Maryland; one sister Mrs. Helen Dkye of Sarasota, Florida and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. at the Kane Funeral Home 41 Catoonah Street. Burial will follow in Mapleshade cemtery Ridgefield. Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m.
