Sister of Greenfield Woman Dies at Shelbyville Monday
Mrs. Judith B. Lisher, age 75, wife of A.E. Lisher, widely known Shelbyville attorney and sister of Mrs. O.P. Eastes, of this city, died at 3 o?clock Monday morning at her home at 29 West Mechanic street, Shelbyville. Mrs. Lisher had been seriously ill since Wednesday. Death was caused by leukemia.
Born in Marion township, the daughter of Leason and Minerva (Nigh) Bass, she had spent her entire life in Shelbyville and Shelby county. She was a member of the First Christian Church of that city.
On September 28, 1884, she was married to Mr. Lisher, who survives with Mrs. Clyde Spurlin, one of two children born to the union. Another child died in infancy.
