Phyllis F. Miller
Phyllis F. Miller, 87, of Huntington, IN, died Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013, at her daughter's home in South Carolina, where she had spent the past several months.
Mrs. Miller graduated from Huntington High School in 1943. She was a member of Central Christian Church. She was a 50-year member and past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was born Dec. 17, 1925, in Huntington to Larue L. and Gladys Wilson Roudebush. She married Norbert Miller on March 21, 1943, in Huntington. He preceded her in death on April 8, 1999.
Survivors include three children, Sharon (Ken) Crawford, of Galivants Ferry, SC; Trace (Edie) Miller, of Inman, SC; and Linda (Bernie) Junge, of Rochester; 10 grandchildren; one stepgrandchild; 13 great-grandchildren; nine stepgreat-grandchildern; and one great-great-grandchild.
Calling is Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington. A service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at 10 a.m., with Rev. Chris Hayden officiating. Interment will be at the Markle Cemetery.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Central Christian Church Building Fund in care of Myers Funeral Home.
