She had been seriously ill three weeks. Born Jan. 19, 1898 in this county, the daughter of Charles and Carolybn (Nading) Towns, she married Thomas J. Hargadon who survives., Also surviving are two daughters; three brothers, Virgil S. Towne, Shelbyville, Hal Towns, Danville, Ill., and Jack Towns, Geneva; a sister, Mrs. Cecil (Joan) Shadley, Shelbyville, and eight grandchildren. Two brothers and two sisters preceded in death. Mrs. Hargadon spent her early life here. Services will be Thursday at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Escondido and burial will be in a Los Angeles cemetery. The McLeod Funeral Home, Escondido, is in charge of arrangements.
