The funeral of the late Mr. Edward Bassett, of 15 Stewart St., Launceston, who died at Launceston on August 22, took place at the Carr Villa Cemetery on Thursday afternoon, and was attended by many relatives and friends. Rev. Reeves of St. John?s Church, conducted the service at the graveside. Chief mourners were: Mrs. Bassett, widow; Messrs.
