Hilda (Henry) Bassett
BASSETT, HILDA (HENRY) 90, formerly of Monsignor De Angelis Manor I and Clyde Towers, passed away at the Coventry Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center on Thursday, February 9, 2017. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Bassett Jr.
Born in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late John and Theresa (Bento) Henry.
Hilda was employed as a housekeeper for many years before retiring from the R.J. Carbone Wholesale Floral Distributors. Hilda belonged to the Monsignor De Angelis Manor I and the Clyde Towers Tennent?s Associations.
She was the mother of Donna M. Bassett of West Warwick, and the sister of Gloria Lively of Seattle, Washington and the late Manuel, Joseph, Antonio Andrade, Dot Amaral, Mary Guibeau and Theresa Cunha.
A Committal Service will be Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 10 am at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter. Arrangements are with the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte.117) Coventry. Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted, memorial contributions to the J. Arthur Trudeau Center, 3445 Post Rd., Warwick, RI 02886 will be appreciated.
